CommentSynonymy: Previously considered as s synonym of Gymnodactylus (Nactus) pelagicus pelagicus, e.g. by WERMUTH 1965 and RÖSLER 2000.

EtymologyPresumably named after the Latin place name Eboracum (York, in England). This species was described from Cape York, in Queensland. (G. Shea, pers. comm., 9 Feb 2024)
