Variation: According to FITZSIMONS & BRAIN 1958 found in 3 color forms: uniform honey yellow, reddish-brown mottled, uniform yellow to reddish-brown.

Diet: Feeds mainly on small rodents, but will also take frogs and toads and small birds.
