Comment | Synonymy: Naultinus poecilochlorus is not accepted as a valid species by DAUGHERTY et al. 1994, nor by NIELSEN et al. 2011 (who spell it poecilochloris). |
Etymology | Named after Latin tuberculum, diminutive of tuber, a wartlike projection, -atus/a/um, adjectival suffix, apparently for the enlarged tubercular scales on the head and body. |
