Etymology | Named after George Albert Boulenger (1858-1937), herpetologist at the British Museum of Natural History, London. For comments on the types of N. b. kilosae see BAUER & GÜNTHER 1995. Nucras emini was named after Emin Pascha (1840-1892), German researcher, also known as Isaak Eduard Schnitzer (now a synonym) Nucras ukerewensis was named after Ukerewe, the largest island in Lake Victoria (now a synonym) |
