Diagnosis 
CommentO. annulifer annulata is a valid species (F. WAGNER, pers. comm.); Oligodon annulifer annulata (LIDTH DE JEUDE 1922) was synonymized with O. signatus by TILLACK & GÜNTHER 2010. Synonymy mostly after TILLACK & GÜNTHER 2010.

Habitat: partly arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologyNamed after the diminutive form (“annul-”) of Latin “anus” = ring and the verb “fero, ferre” = carry.
