|Comment||O. fasciolatus has 21 or 23 scale rows at midbody. O. fasciolatus has been previously synonymized with O. cylurus which has 19 scale rows and is restricted to India, Bangladesh and Myanmar fide PAUWELS et al. 2002.|
Bahavior: While most species of Oligodon are docile, O. fasciolatus is said to have an aggressive disposition (SMITH 1943, TAYLOR 1965).
