Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: BOULEGNER (1892) suggests that Simotes meyerinkii is a “variety” of Simotes octolineatus (= Oligodon octolineatus).

Distribution: The occurrence of O. meyerinkii on Borneo requires confirmation according to MALKMUS et al. (2002). Not listed by Stuebing et al. 2014 for Borneo. 
Etymologynamed after the collector, Mr. Meyeringk.
