DistributionIndonesia (endemic to Sumatra)

Type locality: Pudang (Padang?), Babongan, W Sumatra, or Ujungpadang, Bakongan, Aceh, Indonesia; Locality of the neotype: “settlement Balinka, approx. 7 km southwest of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, Indonesia, ca. 1200 m a.s.l. [ca. 0°21’ S 100°19’ E],” collected by A. Michalczyk.
