Diagnosis 
CommentThe Gebel Elba Snake-eyed Lizard, Ophisops elbaensis, is a strikingly colored lizard that was originally thought to be endemic to Gebel Elba but has since been found in the Arabian Peninsula. 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality.
