DistributionSouth Africa (southern escarpment and Cape Fold Mountains surrounding the western Little Karoo)

Type locality: Dolerite Towers, Molteno Pass, Nuweveldberge, Karoo National Park (32° 15’ 09’’ S, 22° 34’ 07’’ E, 1077 m elevation), Western Cape Province.

Diagnosis 
CommentP. kladaroderma is characterized by a slit-like ear opening, low number of granules bordering the mental (3-6) and mental and adjacent infralabials (5-13), the frequent (79%) occurrence of the supralabial entering the nostril, and its drab brown base colouration. 
EtymologyNamed after Greek “kladaros” = easily broken, and “derma” = skin, with reference to the fragile skin exhibited by this species and several other species of Pachdactylus to which it may be closely related.
