Comment | Not listed by BROADLEY & POYNTON 1998 for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire). Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. |
Etymology | Named after Louis Burgeon (1884-1974), an entomologist and Director of the Zoology Department at the Royal Museum for Central Africa, Tervuren. |
