Type locality: Sylhet River, Khasi Hills, India (but from Sylhet, Bangladesh, fide Rahman et al. 2015).  
Reproductionoviparous.

Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: possibly in Bhutan (Lenz 2012 and references therein).

Habitat: freshwater (Rivers, swamps)
