Reproductionoviparous.

Diagnosis 
CommentSubspecies: The subspecies Kachuga tecta circumdata MERTENS 1969 has been relegated to K. tentoria.

Distribution: possibly in Bhutan (Lenz 2012 and references therein).

Type species: Emys tecta GRAY 1831 is the type species of the genus Pangshura GRAY 1869: 204.
