Synonymy: from SCHOOLS & HEDGES 2024. 
EtymologyProbably named after its habitat, from Greek hylo- (forest), and Greek nomos = usage, pasture, place for living, or Greek nomus (wanderer), in likely allusion to the relatively isolated range of this mesic, forest-dwelling species in eastern Hispaniola.
