Comment | Synonymy Amblycephalus komaii MAKI 1931 had been considered as a synonym of P. formosensis (e.g. by WALLACH et al. 2014: 535) until its revalidation by YOU et al. 2015. Liu and Rao 2021 removed Amblycephalus niger POPE 1928: 4 from the synonymy of P. komaii and synonymized it with P. mengziensis, hence niger takes priority over P. mengziensis. |
