Comment | |
Etymology | Named after "maingoka" (mine goo kuh), a Malagasy word for "scorpion", used as an unlatinized specific epithet. It refers to the striking behavior of individuals of this species when confronted, in which the tail is immediately curved anteriorly over the back in a scorpion-like manner. |
