Comment | Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. Distribution: For a map of type localities see Mamani et al. 2023: 167 (Fig. 6). |
Etymology | Named after the Latin words labium (lip) and oculus (eye). The name is used in reference to the distinctive supralabial-subocular fusion found in all specimens of this species. |
