CommentMember of the Phelsuma guttata (phenetic) group (GLAW, VENCES & ZIEGLER 1999).

Variation: Phelsuma guttata is a highly variable species. See photos in Mohan et al. 2019. 
Etymologynamed after its dorsal drop-shaped (actually irregular) red and black spots (Latin “gutta” = drop).
