Distribution	E Madagascar Type locality: Lac Ampitabe (18°36’ S, 49°15’ E) near Andranokoditra, ca. 65 km south of Toamasina (= Tamatave), East Madagascar.
Reproduction	oviparous
Types	Holotype: ZSM 607/2003
Diagnosis
Comment	Most closely related to the P. lineata group. Similar species: Has been mis-identified as Lygodactylys sp. by animal traders. Max. length: 71 mm. Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024.
Etymology	Named after the Malagasy word kely = small.
