Diagnosis 
CommentMember of the Phelsuma madagascariensis (phenetic) group (GLAW, VENCES & ZIEGLER 1999). Some authors (such as MERTENS 1962) have synonymized grandis with madagascariensis.

Max length: 240 mm 
EtymologyNamed after the collector of the types, Karl Ludwig Koch.
