Diagnosis 
CommentPhelsuma pronki is characterized by a grey coloured dorsal part of its body with marbled stripes and a yellow held and neck; total length about 112 mm. Taxonomically, the new species holds in isolated position within the Phelsuma harbouri species group, and its distribution is restricted to the central part of Madagascar. Member of the Phelsuma barbouri (phenetic) group (GLAW, VENCES & ZIEGLER 1999).
