Comment | Synonymy: P. lhotei was synonymized with P. zollii by Trape et al. 2012. SCHLEICH, KÄSTLE & KABISCH 1996 only mentioned that the relationship of this species to P. zolii is uncertain. Distribution: Occurs over a large range but with only spotty localities. See map in Naia et al. 2021: Fig. 1, Bauer et al. 2017: 226 (2 localities in Libya). Etymology | Named after Signor Zolio, the President of the Italian Geographic Society, which supported the expedition to Libya during which the holotype was collected. |
