CommentDistribution: See map in Hoskin 2023: 234 (Fig. 1) 
EtymologyNamed after Irene Champion, a Resource Ranger with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, who pointed the authors to the Cameron Ck/Black Mtn as a potential source of “unusual fauna”.
