Distribution: Probably occurs in the Congo too (TRAPE & ROUX-ESTÈVE 1995). Listed for Gabon by Chirio & Lebreton 2007 but Pauwels 2008 says explicitly it’s not in Gabon.

Type species: Elapocalamus gracilis BOULENGER 1911: 371 is the type species of the genus Elapocalamus BOULENGER 1911. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin “gracilis”, meaning small or lanky, or gracile.
