Type locality: Vumbu Mts., Umtali district

TypesHolotype: NMZB (as Rhodesian Museum), Vumbu Mtns, 5600ft, near Umtali and near border of Mozambique, collected D.G. Arnold. 
Diagnosis 
CommentLimb morphology: Reduced limbs.

Type not in South Africa fide SAMA catalog (Anonymous 1958). 
EtymologyNamed after Dr. George Arnold (1881-1962), British entomologist who specialized on ants and wasps. In 1911 he became Curator, and later Director, of the National Museum of Southern Rhodesia, Bulawayo.
