Type locality: Nyange, Uluguru Mountains, Tanzania.

Diagnosis 
CommentHabitat: montane forest.

Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyThe Latin ornata, -us, = decorated" or "ornamented," refers to the ornate coloration.
