Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A Pseudoxyrhopus with 21 dorsal scale rows at midbody; bluntly rounded snout; 8 supralabials; anterior subcaudals undivided, posterior subcaudals divided; supralabials and rostral with white spots, which are sometimes partly fused to form a thin broken line; body coloration dark brown (from RAXWORTHY & NUSSBAUM 1994). |
Comment | Synonymy: Homalocephalus suppressed by ICZN. Günther (1881) stated that Homolocephalus is pre-occupied by the dipteran genus Homolocephala.
