Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A Pseudoxyrhopus with 21 rows of dorsal scales at midbody, 8 supralabials, bluntly rounded snout, subcaudals divided, white line on supralabials and rostral, and dark brown dorsal coloration on body. |

Etymology | Named after the Malagasy word “sokosoko”, meaning “approaching or goes secretly or stealthily”, referring to the secretive and nocturnal habits of this species. |
