CommentHabitat: heavier soils, rocky substrats, aris and semi-arid zones

Limb morphology: Limbless.

Synonymy: after JAMES et al. 2001. Kluge 1974: 153 included P. schraderi in the synonymy of P. nigriceps. 
EtymologyNamed after Dr. Carl Wilhelm Otto Schrader (1852-1930), a German explorer, naturalist, herpetologist, and astronomer.
