Diagnosis 
CommentSome species of this genus are venomous although we do not have information about this particular species.

Diet: frogs and toads (Yoshida et al. 2020).

Distribution: not in Laos; reports from Laos are based on laobaoensis 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality in the himalayas.
