Comment 
Etymology“The specific epithet evidently is formed of the noun laureus (the laurel tree or, by extension, a crown of laurel or a crown in general) plus the suffix -ata (provided with), in allusion to the pale lines that set off the dark top of the head” (MYERS, 1974).
