Type locality: “Noi Xas unweit Ghanze in der Nord-Kalayari, Südweat-Afrikas” [= between Aus and Keetmanshoop, Great Namaqualand, Noixas, Ghansi District, W. Kalahari, Botswana] (type locality restriction by Mertens, 1971: 75) (21.567°S, 21.783°E, elevation 1155 m).
