Comment | Status unclear. WERMUTH 1967 lists this species with a question mark. SMITH (1935) states that it may belong to the genus Calotes and BOULENGER (1885: 314) mentions it as Salea gularis but under Calotes. Distribution: presumably India or Sri Lanka (only known from the type locality, whatever that is). Not in India fide Mohapatra et al. 2024 (ZSI checklist). Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). |
