Diagnosis 
CommentNot listed for Mexico by KÖHLER (2000). 
EtymologyThe name incerta is from the Latin incertus (doubtful) and alludes to the ‘‘extremely obscure’’ systematic relationships of this species to other Western Hemisphere members of this group of skinks (Stuart, 1940: 12).
