CommentSynonymy partly after KOFRON 1985 and 1987.

Harvey et al. 2008 reported a specimen from Colombia that may be in error.

Habitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologyNamed after Greek anthrakos (ανθρακος), coal + Greek -opós (ωπός), face or appearance. [“...No white markings on top of head...”].
