Comment	Type species: Coluber compressus DAUDIN 1803 is the type species of the genus Tripanurgos, which has been synonymized with Siphlophis by ZAHER & PRUDENTE 2003. Habitat: arboreal Behavior: nocturnal Diet: mainly lizards, but occasionally snakes, mammals, anurans, and lizard eggs.
