Diagnosis
Comment	Belongs to the scaber group of Sphaerodactylus. Distribution: not listed for Jamaica by Wilson 2011.
Etymology	Named after Richard Thomas from the University of Puerto Rico, who made many important contributions to the herpetology of the West indies. See Bauer et al. 2021 for biographical details.
