DiagnosisDiagnosis: Two anterior loreals; 8 supraoculars; a distinct dark spot on each side of the neck; no auricular lobules; 36 scale rows. (Bacon 1967)

CommentHabitat: terrestrial. 
EtymologyPresumably from the Latin macula (spot) plus collum (neck). The description emphaises the dark spot on the lateral side of the neck.
