Type locality: Rotung, N. Assam  
Reproduction 
TypesHolotype: ZSI 16900, collected Capt. M. de Courcy. Das et al. (1998) list three specimens, but Annandale specifically stated that 16900 was the type (=holotype), making the other two specimens paratypes. 
Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: likely in Bhutan (Lenz 2012).

Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after Captain Michael William Robert de Courcy (26 September 1882, India – 21 October 1969), later 34th Baron Kingsale. A member of the 32nd Sikh Pioneers Regiment, who was on Abor Expedition of 1911-12 and collected the types. (Glenn Shea, pers. comm., 2 Feb 2024)
