Comment 
EtymologyNamed after Greek chrysos (χρϋσός), gold, to express anything made of gold + Greek pyge (πυγή), the rump, buttocks. [“...anal region and lower surface of hind limbs bright yellow in the males...”]. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
