CommentThis species was discovered and described from the stomach of a Micrurus fulvius from Florida.

Similar species: Storeria dekayi wrightorum 
EtymologyApparently named after victim, referring to the fact that the holotype was recovered from stomach of a coral snake (fide Beltz 2006).
