Diagnosis 
CommentGroup: Diplodactylus michaelseni group (subgenus Strophurus). Note that BAUER et al. (1989) rejected the validity of a “michaelseni” group. 
EtymologyNamed after W. Michaelsen, leader of the Hamburg expedition to SW Australia in 1905, on which the gecko was discovered.
