Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A tantilla characterized by seven supralabials, six infralabials, the chinshields separated from the mental; ventrals, 169; subcaudals, 48; anal divided Tip of snout black, bordered by a cream band that is followed by a broad black area reaching to the back part of parietals; cream spot behind eye extending from frontal to labials; an occipital cream band one scale wide, followed by a broad nuchal black band four scales wide. Anterior fourth of body banded with narrow cream and wider black bands [from TAYLOR 1949]. |
