Types	Holotype: MCZ 16728
Diagnosis	Diagnosis: Similar to T. semiannulatus, but differing in having 21 rows of scales instead of invariably having 19; in coloration, in having the anal entire and in several other minor features [from BARBOUR 1922]. Comment	Venomous, but usually not dangerous to humans. Habitat: partly arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). Distribution: see map in Šmíd et al. 2019: 39 (Fig. 1).
Etymology	Named after the collector, Dr. Werner Beetz.
