DiagnosisDiagnosis: Both femoral and preanal pores present; one to six subfemoral tubercles present; 30 or more preanal-femoral pores in males; usually more than 115 (up to 133) ventral scales from postmentals to vent; 25-32 ventral scales across midbody; 8-12 scales across head; dorsal tubercles triangular roundish or trihedral, usually large, 26-30 in paravertebral row from occiput to level of vent, usually one to three additional tubercles present; 2-3 (usually 3) pairs of postmentals, the scales of first pair broadly in contact; usually two rows
of scales between row of femoral pores and vent; finger tips of adpressed forelimb reach tip of snout; length of forelimb 33-38% of body length). (Szczerbak and Golubev, 1986:141 [1996:138], Anderson 1999: 170).
