Type locality: at Pendé River (7°2'E, 16°4'N), Central African Republic.

Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024.

The publication date is 2001, not 2000, fide Frétey 2023. 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality.
