Diagnosis 
CommentNot explicitely mentioned in the Zoological Record of 1882. Types not located fide BAUER et al. 1995. Sympatric with M. sparsa on trees along the Nosop and Molopo Rivers and environs.

Distribution: for a map see Stephens et al. 2022: Fig. 1 and Fig. 4. Not in Angola fide Ceriaco et al. 2024 (revision Angolan Trachylepis).
