TypesType: BMNH 1946.8.18.32 (and possibly additional specimens). 
CommentSynonymy: MAUSFELD (pers. comm.) suggested to assign this species to the new genus Euprepis. LOVERIDGE 1957 placed this species in the synonymy of M. brevicollis.
