Comment
EtymologyNamed after Italian astronomer, physicist, and engineer Galileo di Vincenzo Bonaulti de Galilei (15 February 1564 − 8 January 1642) for his ground- breaking contributions to modern science and profound impacts on human society. The unique dorsal coloration of Tropidurus galileii, reminiscent of a starry night sky, evokes the celestial wonder that Galileo passionately contemplated.
