Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: See map in Carvalho et al. 2023: 33 (Fig. 13). 
EtymologyNamed after the proper nouns Madeira (Portuguese language) and Mamoré (Tupi-Guarani language). These are the names of the Amazonian rivers that appear to circumscribe the northern and western distribution limits of the species in the State of Rondônia, Brazil. Madeira-Mamoré is also the name of the world-famous railroad built between 1907 and 1912 to ex- port rubber and other goods produced in the western Brazilian and Bolivian Amazonia.
